Nita can also provide workshops in traditional folk dancing using sticks, often performed in

Gujarat, West India.

As an East African born Asian, Nita has wide knowledge of both Asian and Kenyan life and culture. Nita can provide:

interactive traditional indian dance workshops for children aged 3-11; an insight into other areas of Hindu life and culture, e.g. Diwali (Festival of Lights), Holi (Festival of Spring and Colour), Durga (Festival of Dance); workshops in traditional indian costume, including Shalwar, Khameez, Kurta, Bindis and Ankle Bells.

Children may also be offered the opportunity of dressing up in traditional indian costume.
