Social Enterprise

Cydradd Cymru forms part of a Social Enterprise which tackles social and economic disadvantages and disengagement among a wide range of communities in Wales. Cydradd Cymru operates as part of Foundation 14A "a not for profit" company limited by guarantee

Unfortunately, there are high rates of unemployment and poor levels of educational attainment in some communites. We hope to tackle these issues with comprehensive training packages.

We are also aware of the disproportionate numbers of ethnic minority peoples who find themselves in prison or young offenders institutions. We hope to tackle issues such as alcohol and drug dependency with qualified practitioners

We intend to offer training in many fields, such as music, art / craft, sport, textiles, beauty therapy as well as providing support in the basic skills such as numeracy, literacy and ICT.

We also intend to work in partnerships with both lifestyle and coaching organisations as well as being supported by nuitrition specialists and mental health organisations to provide an all round programme of opportunities
